PHILIPPINE SEA (Sept. 19, 2018)- Cpl. Rolando Sulaica, from Carrizo Springs, Texas, assigned to the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), gets taken down by SJonnie, a patrol explosive detection dog, as military working dog handler, Cpl. Jesica Flemming, from Wellington, Alabama, assists during a demonstration in the hangar bay of the amphibious assault ship USS Wasp (LHD 1). Wasp, flagship of the Wasp Expeditionary Strike Group, with attached 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, is operating in the Indo-Pacific region to enhance interoperability with partners and serve as a ready-response force for any type of contingency.
