Rear Adm. James F. Caldwell Jr., commander of submarine force U.S. Pacific Fleet, troops-the-line and salutes Recruit Division 813 at a weekly pass-in-review graduation in the USS Midway Ceremonial Drill Hall at Recruit Training Command. Caldwell toured the command's training facilities, talked with staff members and recruits, and was the reviewing officer for the pass-in-review graduation. Division 813 was named the Hall of Fame division as the top graduating division. Exactly 600 recruits officially became sailors at the weekly graduation. RTC trains more than 35,000 sailors annually.
