Description: Extravehicular Activity (EVA) 2 to service the Hubble Space Telescope (HST SM-02) on Flight Day 5 with mission specialists Joe Tanner and Greg Harbaugh. Joe Tanner (identified by diagonal red stripes) lowers the Fine Guidance Sensor (FGS), which was replaced in the HST by the FGS-1R, into the FGS scientific instrument protective enclosure (FSIPE) for return to Earth. Greg Harbaugh (broken red stripes) makes sure the FGS has clearance into its stowage container. These views were taken with an electronic still camera.
