Sailing into the history books, four ships of NATO's surface Task Group 455 form up for a brief ceremony to mark the end of Operation Unified Protector Oct. 31, 2011. Addressing the assembled crews by radio link from the flagship ITS San Giusto (left) Maritime Commander Vice Adm. Rinaldo Veri passed on the words of gratitude from the NATO command chain and reminded them of the vital role they and others in the operation had played in what had proved to be a historic mission.
