Summary
Sailors remove metal "hot plate" pads from an MV-22 Osprey, assigned to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 262, as it prepares for takeoff from the flight deck of the amphibious dock landing ship USS Germantown (LSD 42) during a personnel transfer for Amphibious Landing Exercise 2015 (PHIBLEX 15). PHIBLEX 15 is an annual bilateral training exercise conducted with the Armed Forces of the Philippines. Germantown is part of the Peleliu Expeditionary Strike Group, commanded by Rear Adm.
