Santa Claus, a North Pole native, waves to Team Lakenheath members from the backseat of an all-terrain vehicle driven by Staff Sgt. Anthony DeRoest, 56th Rescue Squadron pararescueman and native of Portland, Ore., Dec. 1, 2012. Claus teamed up with the 56th RQS HH-60G Pave Hawk to bring Christmas cheer to Team Lakenheath members. After being dropped off by 56th RQS, Claus proceeded to Hangar 7 where children were able to meet him and tell him what they wanted for Christmas. (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt. Stephen Linch)

The U.S. National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) was established in 1934 by President Franklin Roosevelt.
