SCHOFIELD BARRACKS, Hawaii – Soldiers from the 25th
Summary
SCHOFIELD BARRACKS, Hawaii – Soldiers from the 25th Sustainment Brigade and 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division off-load rigged low cost low altitude (LCLA) supply loads from a palletized loading system and move them to a waiting Ch-47 Chinook December 12, for an air delivery exercise. The LCLA delivery method is used to resupply on-ground troops at less of cost and higher accuracy than a high altitude airdrop making it the preferred method for light-weight supplies.
