Seabee Officer Briefs Convoy

Ensign Jason Kiel, the officer in charge of Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 3's Convoy Security Element team, discusses a future convoy movement at the Camp Krutke terrain model. The Seabee of NMCB 3 use the terrain model in order to visualize their proposed movement, to see where adjacent friendly troops are and identify potential hazards and choke points that they may encounter while on the convoy. NMCB 3 is an expeditionary element of US Naval Forces providing construction, engineering and security services in support of national strategy, Naval power projection, humanitarian assistance and contingency operations.
