Sgt. Dennis Leonard, left, a Hampton, Va., native, along with Pvt. John Duda, a Chicago native, who serve respectively as a squad leader and a rifleman with the 3rd Platoon, Company B, 1st Combined Arms Battalion, 68th Armor Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Multi-National Division – Baghdad, align a stabilizing board before nailing it into place while building a table at Joint Security Station-Istaqlal Jan. 31. The Silver Lion Soldiers spend most of their time during the deployment living at and working out of the JSS. The two were building the table to help keep their combat gear more organized in the hallway of the building where they live. Because the JSS is in a more isolated location away from most forward operating bases, the Soldiers handcraft some of the furniture they use.
