Summary

Sgt. Luis Heredia, 75th Ranger Regiment, Fort Benning, Ga., dons his gas mask prior to firing during the occupy and defend scenario Sept. 11 during the Army Ammunition Transfer Holding Point Team of the Year competition at Fort Pickett, Va. Teams established a field ATHP within a support area to provide ammunition resupply operations and defended the ATHP. ATHP started Sept. 9 and ran through Sept. 13. Teams of five Soldiers, from 75th Ranger Regiment, 10th Mountain Division, and 1st Cavalry Division, were assessed on ATHP operations and associated tasks that facilitate the receipt and transfer of ammunition.
