Michael Gardner, an aviation ordnance technician with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 163 (Reinforced), 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, and a Jacksonville, Fla. native, performs maintenance on an AV-8B Harrier aboard the USS Makin Island during Amphibious Squadron Marine Expeditionary Unit Integration Training (PMINT) off the coast of San Diego, Calif.
