During the week-long competition, Soldiers are tested physically and mentally in events that include the Army Physical Fitness Test, land navigation, combat water survival, a U.S. Marine Corps obstacle course, ruck marching, weapon qualification, Army Warrior Tasks, written exams and the Army appearance board. The Defense Visual Information Distribution Service provides a connection between world media and the American military personnel serving at home and abroad. All of these materials are preserved because they are important to the workings of Government, have long-term research worth, or provide information of value to citizens.
