Soldiers assigned to the 143rd Airborne Infantry Regiment

Soldiers assigned to the 143rd Airborne Infantry Regiment attached to the 173rd Airborne Brigade based out of Vicenza, Italy, conduct an air-insertion exercise June 11, 2018, with members of the Israel Defense Forces, the Italian Armed Forces and the Polish Land Forces for exercise Swift Response 18. Exercise Swift Response 18 is an annual U.S. Army Europe-led multinational exercise held in Latvia, Lithuania and Poland. Swift Response 18 provides a vital joint and multinational training opportunity that allows command and control of complex operations from dispersed locations while ensuring that participating forces work together seamlessly to bring the full weight of the joint and combined team to bear – wherever and whenever needed.
