Soldiers assigned to the 3rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division continue to support 2nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team and the Royal Thai Army (RTA) as the Opposing Force (OPFOR) during Exercise Lightning Forge 2020 at the Kahuku Training Area, Hawaii on July 15, 2020. Lightning Forge is an annual brigade-level training exercise that prepares units for a deployment certification exercise at the Joint Readiness Training Center in Fort Polk, Louisiana. Training alongside the RTA during Lightning Forge works toward achieving interoperability with allies and demonstrates the longstanding relationship enjoyed by both the Kingdom of Thailand and the United States.
