Summary
Soldiers, family and community members showed up July 30, 2016 at the Chapin Town Hall to welcome S.C. National Guardsman, Sgt. Robert Barber, 133rd Military Police Company, to his new home. Barber was at a dismounted traffic control point and lost both legs after a suicide bomber set off an Improvised Explosive Devise, June 20, 2012 in Khowst, Afghanistan. The home was provided by Homes for Our Troops, a non-profit organization that has built more than 40 homes for injured and disabled Soldiers. (Photo by Sgt.
