Soldiers from the brigade will be drawing EAS equipment at locations in Germany, Lithuania, Bulgaria and Romania in preparation for Exercise Anakonda 16. Anakonda 16 is a Polish-led, joint, multinational exercise taking place in Poland from June 7-17. It involves more than 25,000 participants from 24 nations. Anakonda 16 is one of the premier training events for U.S. Army Europe and further supports assurance and deterrence measures by demonstrating Allied defense capabilities to deploy, mass and sustain combat power.
