Soldiers from 531st Hospital Center set up mobile work

Soldiers from 531st Hospital Center set up mobile work stations in the Javits New York Medical Station (JNYMS). The stations will be used to conduct laboratory, x-ray and pharmacy operations. Soldiers, along with FEMA personnel and other federal, state and local agencies began operating a field hospital out of the JNYMS, March 30, to care for non-COVID-19 patients in an effort to relieve the burden on local hospitals, allowing them to focus on coronavirus patients. U.S Northern Command, through U.S. Army North, is providing military support to the Federal Emergency Management Agency to help communities in need.
