Summary
Soldiers from British army’s 22nd Royal Engineers Regiment and the Norwegian army’s Engineering Company work together to move a section of bridge during training at Leghorn Army Depot in Italy, Oct. 21, 2016, as part of exercise Livorno Shock. Livorno Shock is a combined readiness exercise led by the Italian army's 2nd Engineer Regiment Pontieri and is designed to familiarize U.S. Army paratroopers with river crossing tactics, techniques and procedures. The 173rd Airborne Brigade is the U.S. Army's Contingency Response Force in Europe, providing rapidly deploying forces to the U.S. Army Europe, Africa, and Central Command areas of responsibility within 18 hours.
