Summary

Soldiers with Task Force Spartan’s 30th Armored Brigade Combat Team of the North Carolina National Guard, the 188th Deployment and Distribution Support Battalion and the 411th Transportation Detachment based in Fort Knox, Kentucky load trucks, Humvees and M2 Bradley Fighting Vehicles at the Port of Shuaiba in Kuwait. The 30th Soldiers and their vehicles will support the Iron Union exercise. The recurring, bilateral exercise between the U.S. and the United Arab Emirates strengthens relationships and increases interoperability between the two nation's military forces.
