SOLOMON SEA (June 26, 2015) A Navy MH-60S Seahawk from Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 25 “Island Knights” flies past USNS Washington Chambers (T-AKE 11) during a replenishment at sea with the hospital ship USNS Mercy (T-AH 19) during Pacific Partnership 2015. Mercy received dry goods, frozen and fresh foods, medical supplies and 12,000 barrels of fuel during the replenishment at sea. Mercy is currently underway to Papua New Guinea for its second mission stop of Pacific Partnership 2015. Pacific Partnership is in its 10th iteration and is the largest annual multilateral humanitarian assistance and disaster relief preparedness mission conducted in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region. While training for crisis conditions, Pacific Partnership missions to date have provided real world medical care to approximately 270,000 patients and veterinary services to more than 38,000 animals.
