South Carolina Gov. Henry McMaster presented the Order of the Palmetto award to Mrs. Barbara Livingston, wife of U.S. Army Maj. Gen. Robert E. Livingston, Jr., the 28th adjutant general of South Carolina, at McEntire Joint National Guard Base in Eastover, South Carolina, Feb. 16, 2019. The Order of Palmetto is the highest civilian honor in the state and was presented in recognition of contributions and friendship to the state of South Carolina, the South Carolina Military Department, and the South Carolina National Guard.
