Summary
A Peruvian lab technician, center, explains antibody testing procedures to Capt. John Sanders, commanding officer of Naval Medical Research Unit 6, and Cmdr. Mark Becker, mission commander of Southern Partnership Station 2011, during a tour of the NMRU compound. Southern Partnership Station is an annual deployment of U.S. ships to the U.S. Southern Command area of responsibility in the Caribbean and Latin America to share information with Navy, Coast Guard and civilian services throughout the region.
