Christopher Oparah, an automated logistical specialist for the 1100th Theatre Aviation Supply Management Group, Maryland National Guard, provides instructions to a civilian on how to administer the COVID-19 self-test Feb. 3, 2021, at a COVID-19 testing site located at the Wheaton Recreation Center, Wheaton, Md. The MDNG has been activated to support Maryland's COVID-19 response by providing direct support to county health departments in assisting with the acceleration of vaccination and COVID-19 testing efforts. The objects in this collection are from The U.S. National Archives and Defense Visual Information Distribution Service. The U.S. National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) was established in 1934 by President Franklin Roosevelt.
