Spc. Cody Winder, an M1A2SEP Abrams Tank loader for Company C, 1st Battalion, 30th Infantry Regiment “Battle Boars," conducts bore sighting procedures here at Red Cloud Range, Nov. 6. The procedure is part of the live-fire accuracy screening test, a phase in gunnery where crews establish and verify the accuracy of the main gun on their tank. The gunnery is a crew-level mounted gunnery, and consists of crews conducting Tables II-VI. Each table has a specific purpose, which collective builds the crew up in proficiency until the last table, table VI, which consists of numerous targets and maneuvers, where the crew attempts to qualify on the vehicle.
