Spc. Justin Barnett (far right), a paratrooper assigned to B Troop, 91st Cavalry Regiment, 173rd Airborne Brigade watches a live demonstration of the Amputee Care Center’s Gait Real-Time Analysis Interactive Lab July 2 in Tallinn, Estonia. Barnett, a native of Gulfport, Miss., and three other paratroopers from Troop B joined American, British and Estonian service members and leaders for the opening of the center, which will treat wounded Estonian troops, who previously had to go out of country for such care. six-year long project made possible by the time, resources and expertise from Estonia, Great Britain, and the United States. Approximately 600 paratroopers from the 173rd Airborne are in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland as part of Operation Atlantic Resolve to demonstrate America’s commitment to NATO obligations and sustain interoperability with allied forces.
