Spc. Megan Klister of the 56th Signal Battalion, Fort Sam Houston, Texas, sits patiently while she waits for communications from the Tactical Operations Center. She also relays to them any changes to personnel arriving and departing the area that she is assigned. She is assigned to La Guaraza where military members are constructing a new classroom which is part of humanitarian mission. The humanitarian mission, “Beyond the Horizon," in Barahona, Dominican Republic will provide the locals, in several areas of the island, with two new clinics, two of which are medical and one dental clinic as well as two new classrooms for the schools.
