STS044-15-003 - STS-044 - Views of the CREAM and SAM experiments' apparatus on OV-104's middeck
Summary
The original finding aid described this as:
Description: Views of the Cosmic Radiation Effects and Activation Monitor (CREAM) experiment and the companion Shuttle Activation Monitor (SAM) experiment equipment on the middeck of Atlantis, Orbiter Vehicle (OV) 104, during the STS-44 mission. The CREAM experiment collects data on cosmic ray energy loss spectra, neuron fluxes and inducted radiogravity. SAM measures gamma ray data within the orbiter as a function of time and location. Data will be collected from identical locations for both investigations in an attempt to correlate data between the two.
