Description: Mission Pilot Brian Duffy in the SPACEHAB working on a laptop computer as part of the Human Factors Assessment experiment to evaluate the human- machine and human-environment interfaces. Data gathered from these studies will be used to develop better procedures, equipment and vehicles for the future manned space program. The new foot restraint device consisting of padded bars to enclose and restrain foot movement can be seen in some views.
