Description: Photographic documentation of the Shuttle Solar Backscatter Ultraviolet-A (SSBUV-A) and getaway special (GAS) canisters on the Space Shuttle Columbia's payload bay, taken during STS-62. SSBUV-A was designed to aid in the calibration of similar ozone-measuring instruments on various satellites. The GAS canisters are small self-contained payload standard carrier system hardware. During STS-62 they carried limited-duration space environment candidate materials.
