Description: STS-72 external tank is documented after separation from the shuttle orbiter Endeavour which was launched in the early morning of January 11, 1996. The now empty external fuel tank falls away from the orbiter to eventually burn up in Earth's atmosphere. Views gradually darken until the fuel tank is no longer visible in the dark of night.
