Description: STS-82 Mission Specialist Joe Tanner videotapes the approach of the Hubble Space Telescope from the flight deck (001-2). Commander Ken Bowersox looks through the Crew Optical Alignment Sight (COAS) mounted in the overhead flight deck window and uses his thumb to block the sun (003-8). Bowersox controls the movement of the orbiter using the translation hand controller (THC) at the aft flight deck station (009-10). Shadowy portrait of Hawley due to flash failure (011).
