Description: Extravehicular Activity (EVA) 2 on Flight Day 5 to service the Hubble Space Telescope on this second servicing mission (HST SM-02). Extravehicular Mobility Unit (EMU) suited astronauts Greg Harbaugh and Joe Tanner remove the old Fine Guidance Sensor (FGS) from the -V2 FGS-1 bay. Tanner stands on the Remote Manipulator System (RMS) Manipulator Foot Restraint (MFR) while Harbaugh stands on a foot restraint mounted on the side of the telescope. Frames 004-8 are very dark, the telescope is silhouetted against the Earth background.
