Swedish Special Forces together with U.S. Navy Special Warfare Combatant-Craft Crewman and Special Reconnaissance Unmanned Underwater Vehicle (UUV) operators assigned to Naval Special Warfare Command perform UUV launch and recovery training utilizing a Combatant Craft Medium (CCM) in the Baltic Sea near Karlskrona, Sweden during a bilateral exercise on November 6, 2020. The Swedish-led exercise, consisting of conventional and Special Operations Forces, occurred in land, air and maritime regions to test combined military options, rapid response capabilities, and readiness to support Swedish defense and the Baltic Sea Region. The objects in this collection are from The U.S. National Archives and Defense Visual Information Distribution Service. The U.S. National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) was established in 1934 by President Franklin Roosevelt. All of these materials are preserved because they are important to the workings of Government, have long-term research worth, or provide information of value to citizens.
