Texas Gov. Rick Perry gives a “thumbs up” from the cockpit of an F/A-18F Super Hornet assigned to the Black Knights of Strike Fighter Squadron 154, after successfully trapping a landing aboard the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan. The F-18 is an all-weather, attack aircraft that can also be used as a fighter.
