Summary

The Dutch Minister of Defense visits Rena during Exercise Trident Juncture. Ank Bijleveld pays a special visit to NLD 45 Armoured Infantry Battalion, that will contribute to the Spearhead Battalion of the Very High Readiness Joint Task Force 2019; the quickest deployable asset of the NATO Response Force.
With around 50,000 personnel participating in Trident Juncture 2018, it is one of the largest NATO exercises in recent years. Around 250 aircraft, 65 vessels and more than 10,000 vehicles are involved in the exercise in Norway.
