The Lucas Oil Skydivers ascend from the sky at the 2016 MCAS Cherry Point Air Show – “Celebrating 75 Years” at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, N.C., April 29, 2016. The Lucas Oil Skydivers are a skydiving demonstration team made up of highly experienced civilian skydivers who are selected for the team and average over 15 years in the sport. The skydiving team has 40,000 jumps between them. This year’s air show celebrated MCAS Cherry Point and 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing’s 75th anniversaries and featured 40 static displays, 17 aerial performers and a concert.
