The Space and Missile Systems Center at Los Angeles

The Space and Missile Systems Center at Los Angeles Air Force Base, California, conducted an Operational Readiness Exercise (ORE 18-1), Nov 8, 2017.
A member of the 61st Air Base Group, Security Forces Squadron, played the role of an active shooter, as security forces received an (exercise) call and responded to neutralize the threat. Exercise evaluators were on hand to take note how employees reacted (or didn’t react) to the threat, by running away from the threat, hiding behind locked doors or fighting back as a last resort.
