Through the use of a night vision device, a Guyana

Through the use of a night vision device, a Guyana Defense Force soldier and a U.S. special operations force soldier patrol a large field during a nighttime training event, March 8, in the town of Maukuria, outside of Georgetown. The event was part of Exercise Fused Response 2012. The exercise is a Guyana-U.S. military exchange between members of the Guyana Defense Force and U.S. military. This exercise is aimed at improving interoperability and increase capacity among the participating forces to better combat regional threats such as illicit trafficking and organized crime.
