Tools of the Trade -- A still photo or video camera, steno pad, and pen. This has been the Soldier-Journalist's tools for telling the Army story for decades now in an occupational specialty that has existed in some form since the Revolutionary War. This long standing branch of the Army is at a crossroads now. Decisions by Army leaders both without and within the branch will largely determine the survival of a job deemed necessary since the Army's inception.
