Two AH-1W Super Cobras land at a forward arming and refueling point during Integrated Training Exercise 2-17 at Marine Air Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms, Calif., Feb. 15, 2017. ITX is an exercise designed to bring all the parts of a Marine Air Ground Task Force together to train as one. Since the late 1980s, the AH-1W has been utilized in Marine Air Ground Task Forces for on-call close air support for Marines under fire and ground attack coordination.
