Summary

Two explosive ordnance disposal technicians, assigned to Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit (EODMU) 5 Platoon 502, conduct mine countermeasure operations during an exercise off the coast of Guam July 13, 2017. The exercise is a final qualification for the platoon ensuring they are fully qualified and deployable. EODMU 5 conducts mine countermeasures, improvised explosive device operations, renders safe explosive hazards and disarms underwater explosives such as mines.
