Two High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicles rigged

Two High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicles rigged for a heavy parachute drop, belonging to the 173rd Airborne Brigade, are loaded into a C17 Globemaster III Aircraft from Papa Air Base, Hungary at Aviano Air Base, Italy, Oct. 18, 2016, as a part of Peacemaster Unity training. Peacemaster Unity is Joint multinational readiness exercise including participation from 7 nations conducting missions across 3 countries, delivering over 2000 troops and 20 heavy drops. The 173rd Airborne Brigade is the U.S. Army Contingency Response Force in Europe, capable of projecting ready forces anywhere in the U.S. European, Africa or Central Commands' areas of responsibility within 18 hours.
