U.S. Air Force Band of the Golden West Staff Sgt. Michelle Doolittle, vocalist, is assisted by a couple of young volunteers to sing a song for parents, patients and hospital staff within an intensive care pediatric ward at the Sacred Heart Children's Hospital, Spokane, Washington, June 19, 2019. The Band of the Golden West works year-round to play at venues across the western U.S., from stadium-sized events to intimate settings, they spread the Air Force message far and wide. Several members of the band arrived early to Fairchild Air Force Base for the 2019 Skyfest Open House and Airshow and immediately headed out to play for the supportive Spokane community.
