U.S. Air Force Lt. Col. Bobby Nash, 116th Maintenance Group deputy commander, aircraft maintainers and recruiters from the 116th Air Control Wing (ACW) take a photo with the group of students from the Hawkinsville campus of Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) where they spoke to them about aircraft maintenance job opportunities available as Traditional Guardsmen in the Georgia Air National Guard's (ANG) 116th ACW, Hawkinsville, Ga., Oct. 1, 2015. Members from the 116th ACW visited the Warner Robins and Hawkinsville CGTC campuses and conducted simultaneous briefings sharing the JSTARS mission and information about opportunities to join the Georgia ANG. Team JSTARS, consisting of the Georgia Air National Guard 116th ACW, Air Force active duty 461st ACW, and Army JSTARS, flies the only E-8C Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar System, or Joint STARS, manned platform providing command and control, intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance and battle management to combatant commanders across the globe.
