Members from the 116th ACW visited the Warner Robins and Hawkinsville CGTC campuses and conducted simultaneous briefings sharing the JSTARS mission and information about opportunities to join the Georgia ANG. Team JSTARS, consisting of the Georgia Air National Guard 116th ACW, Air Force active duty 461st ACW, and Army JSTARS, flies the only E-8C Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar System, or Joint STARS, manned platform providing command and control, intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance and battle management to combatant commanders across the globe. The objects in this collection are from The U.S. National Archives and Defense Visual Information Distribution Service. The U.S. National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) was established in 1934 by President Franklin Roosevelt.
