U.S. military and Armed Forces of the Philippines training instructors worked shoulder-to-shoulder to train 179 health workers and members of various local agencies to learn skills and techniques to better respond to a mass casualty occurrence. This year marks the 31st iteration of the exercise, which is an annual Philippine-U.S. bilateral military training exercise and humanitarian civic assistance engagement. The U.S. National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) was established in 1934 by President Franklin Roosevelt. The Defense Visual Information Distribution Service provides a connection between world media and the American military personnel serving at home and abroad. All of these materials are preserved because they are important to the workings of Government, have long-term research worth, or provide information of value to citizens.
