U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. William Saunders with the 437th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron tows a C-17 Globemaster III into position before its departure on a hurricane relief mission Nov. 1, 2012, at Joint Base Charleston, S.C. The aircraft was scheduled to fly to March Air Reserve Base, Calif., to pick up power company trucks and repair crews for transport to Stewart Air National Guard Base in Newburgh, N.Y., after Hurricane Sandy struck the New Jersey and New York City areas Oct. 29, 2012.
