Summary
U.S. Army Forces Command kicked off its annual Soldier/Noncommissioned Officer of the Year competition Aug. 24, at Fort Bragg, N.C. The day began with a morning welcome briefing by Command Sgt. Maj. Scott C. Schroeder, FORSCOM's command sergeant major, and then the competitors were thrown right into the competition; an essay contest, followed by a written exam.
