Marcus Paucar, a radio and communications security repairer assigned to the New York Army National Guard 145th Maintenance Battalion, adjusts the front sight post of his M4A1 Carbine at the zero range on Camp Smith Training Site, 20 September 2016. The Soldiers were qualifying in order to go on State Active Duty to reinforce Joint Task Force Empire Shield, the New York National Guard security force in New York City, at the direction of Governor Andrew M.
