Summary
U.S. Army Sgt. Earl Thomas, a military working dog handler, and his partner, Staff Sgt. Lex, from the 525th Military Working Dog Detachment out of Wiesbaden, Germany, currently assigned to Multinational Battle Group-East, prepare for medical hoist training, July 23, 2015, at Camp Bondsteel, Kosovo. Thomas set up a special harness for Lex, which the team used to hoist him from the ground into a UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter, operated by F Company, 5th Battalion, 159th Aviation Regiment, out of Clearwater, Fla.
