U.S. Army Sgt. Kyle Goree, a field communications noncommissioned officer assigned to the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA), helps lift a casket during a disinterment ceremony at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Honolulu, Hawaii, Sept. 11, 2017. The ceremony was part of DPAA’s effort to exhume 35 caskets associated with the USS West Virginia, a battleship that sank during the attack on Pearl Harbor, Dec. 7, 1941.
